To commemorate our 150th Jubilee, the Province proudly inaugurated and blessed a Yarning Circle and Native Garden at our Conference and Retreat Centre in Hartzer Park on August 25th, 2024. This Yarning Circle and Native Garden serve as a lasting tribute to our First Nations Peoples, honoring the Daughters' ministry and partnership with First Nations communities in Australia for over 114 years.
In Aboriginal culture and spirituality, a Yarning Circle is a sacred gathering place where people come together to share stories, build friendships, reflect on the past, and foster trust. May this Yarning Circle stand as a living testament to the legacy of the Daughters over the past 150 years, continuing to provide a sacred space for connection, friendship, trust, and storytelling.
